The Second Luminous Mystery- Jesus’ Self Manifestation at Cana
Jesus and His Mother Mary had been invited to a huge wedding feast in Cana. There were many people and lots of foods and wines. It came to Mary’s attention that the wine had run out. Mary came and told Jesus that the wine had run out. She turned to the servants and told them to do whatever He told them to do.
Jesus told the servants to fill the huge wine jars to the top with water. The servants must have found this very strange to fill the wine jars with water. When they had done what Jesus told them to do they returned to Him. He told them to draw out from the jars and carry it to the master. The master tasted what the servants brought before him, the water had been changed into wine! The finest of wine!
Jesus shows us by this first miracle that He will not refuse His Mother anything. This is how Jesus began the work that He was sent to do.
Our Father
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name: Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread: and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation: but deliver us from evil. Amen.
There was a wedding at Cana
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen
Jesus and Mary and the apostles were invited.
Hail Mary…
Mary noticed there was no more wine.
Hail Mary…
Mary asked Jesus to help them.
Hail Mary…
Jesus said to His mother, "My time has not yet come"
Hail Mary…
Jesus mother said to the severs, "Do whatever He tells you."
Hail Mary…
Jesus said, "Fill these jugs with water."
Hail Mary…
Jesus prayed over the water in the jugs.
Hail Mary…
Jesus turned water into the best tasting wine.
Hail Mary…
The bridegroom said, "You have saved the best tasting wine to last."
Hail Mary…
Glory Be To The Father
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Fatima Prayer
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.
Amen.
