The night before Jesus was going to be killed, he instituted and left us the most precious gift of Himself in the Holy Eucharist. “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” Jesus took bread, blessed it and said: "Take and eat, this is My Body." Taking the wine he said: "This cup is the new covenant in my Blood, shed for you." At that Eucharistic meal, Jesus celebrated the first Mass. At every Mass the sacrifice of Calvary is made present. At the Last Supper Jesus instituted the sacrament of Holy Orders to perpetuate this sacrifice. "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him."
Jesus sat down for dinner with His disciples, he took the bread, blessed it and broke it them saying, “Take this and eat it, it is my Body.” He took the cup filled with wine, blessed it and said,”This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many, take it and drink it.”
The Eucharist is a sacrifice as it is an offering and a sacrament because it is something we receive. In the Mass we offer ourselves to God, and God gives himself to us. Our FatherOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name: Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread: and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation: but deliver us from evil. Amen.Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and life.No comes to the Father, except through Me." Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.AmenJesus said, "...Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father." Hail Mary… Jesus said, "And whatever you ask in My name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Hail Mary… Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you." Hail Mary… Jesus said, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower." Hail Mary…Jesus said, "If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept my Father's commandments and remain in His love. " Hail Mary… Jesus said, "This I command you, love one another." Hail Mary… And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it, and gave it to his disciples and said, "Take and eat, this is My body. Hail Mary…Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them saying, "Drink from it all of you." Hail Mary… "For this is My blood of the covenant, which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins." Hail Mary… Glory Be To The FatherGlory be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.Amen.Fatima PrayerO my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy.Amen.
The time arrived for Jesus to come down from heaven and save us from our sin. God sent his glorious Archangel Gabriel to Mary's little house in the town of Nazareth and found her praying.
"Hail Mary, full of grace!" said the angel. "The Lord is with you, and you are blessed among women." Mary was startled and surprised to hear the angel's words of praise. "Do not be afraid, Mary," said Gabriel. He told her that she was to be the mother of Jesus, our Savior. Mary was confused but understood what a great honor God was giving her. And she said, "Behold the handmaid of the Lord!" She only wanted to serve God and was willing to do as He commanded. At that very moment, through the power of the Holy Spirit, she became the Mother of God. Nine months later, Jesus was born. Mary knew that as the mother of Jesus, along with great joy she would also have many sorrows. She knew she would have to suffer when her Son suffered. Yet with all her heart, she said, "Be it done to me according to your word." We celebrate this most glorious feast on March 25th.This feast celebrates Mary's response to God, and the awesome moment of the Incarnation. Take some time today to think about how greatly our lives have been changed because Mary said "yes" to God.

Jesus was revealed to be the Son of God to three of His disciples. Jesus took Peter, James and John and went to the top of a mountain to pray. Something amazing happened! Jesus’ face shone like the sun and His clothing became such a dazzling white that it shone! He was speaking with two men, Moses and Elijah. They were telling Him about what as going to happen, His death and Resurrection. The disciples were amazed at what they were seeing! A dark cloud came over the disciples and a voice from Heaven said “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to him." They fell prostrate and cowered in fear. Jesus came over to them and touched them and told them to not be afraid. Jesus told them to tell no one of what they had seen and heard until He had been raised from the dead.

Jesus teached and explained about the Kingdom of God. In the Old Testament prophets understood the kingdom in territorial terms, Jesus interpreted it in a spiritual way as the supreme reign and rule of God. He used everyday images such as seeds, yeast, treasure, pearls, and nets to convey his understanding of this mystery. Jesus and His Mother Mary had been invited to a huge wedding feast in Cana. There were many people and lots of foods and wines. It came to Mary’s attention that the wine had run out. Mary came and told Jesus that the wine had run out. She turned to the servants and told them to do whatever He told them to do.Jesus told the servants to fill the huge wine jars to the top with water. The servants must have found this very strange to fill the wine jars with water. When they had done what Jesus told them to do they returned to Him. He told them to draw out from the jars and carry it to the master. The master tasted what the servants brought before him, the water had been changed into wine! The finest of wine!Jesus shows us by this first miracle that He will not refuse His Mother anything. This is how Jesus began the work that He was sent to do. Our FatherOur Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name: Thy kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. John had been baptizing in the Jordan River. One day Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and asked John to baptize Him . John protested because he felt that Jesus was the one who should be baptizing him. But Jesus told him that they needed to do this to fulfill all righteousness. It was the right thing to do. So John baptized him in the river.
Immediately after he was baptized, as he was praying, the heavens were opened and a dove came down and rested on Jesus. It was the Spirit of God in the form of a bird that had come down to show who Jesus was. Jesus saw it and John also saw the dove.
Suddenly there was a voice from heaven saying, "You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased". The dove and the voice of God were a sign to John that Jesus was the Messiah who had been promised.

The Luminous Mysteries are also known as the Mysteries of Light. The Mysteries begin with the baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by John the Baptist. From then on, Jesus began to do great things.
In the Second Luminous Mystery we visit Cana in Galilee, where Jesus turned water into wine so that the people could have a good time. Mary said "Do whatever Jesus tells you."
The Third Luminous Mystery calls us to go with Jesus through the towns and cities of his own country. The light of his love shone on everyone he met, especially the poor and the sick and those that others looked down on. On one of those journeys, Jesus led his friends up a high mountain. They saw him shining in light, and he promised they would share his light too. This mystery is called the Transfiguration. Just before he died, Jesus had supper with his friends and he gave himself to them in bread and wine. "This is my body," he said. "This is my Blood." In the Fifth Luminous Mystery we remember the Holy Eucharist.
How wonderful to follow Jesus in the Luminous Mysteries. We can bring joy to people, like Jesus did, especially to those that others look down upon. This is a beautiful world where we live even though it may not always seem that way. Let's always see it lighted up with the beauty God gave it. The Luminous Mysteries remind us to follow Jesus, the light of the world.
When Jesus was twelve, He went with His parents to the Temple when there was a great feast. Jesus remained in the Temple. Joseph and Mary found Jesus in the Temple. He was questioning and speaking with the teachers of the Law. Mary asked Him “Son why have you done this to us?” Jesus replied “Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s House?” Jesus returned with Mary and Joseph to Nazareth. Our Father

Forty days after the birth of Jesus, Joseph and Mary took Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem to offer Him to God. They offered a pair of young pigeons as a sacrifice to God.
